No two students learn the same way - and that's what makes teaching so rewarding! Our mission is to empower K-8 students through personalized homeschooling services and private tutoring that prioritizes hands- on learning and meaningful educational relationships. We believe every child can thrive when given the opportunity to learn at their own pace and in their own way, and we are committed to crafting customized learning experiences that support each student's unique journey.

At WIN Educational Services, we believe every learner deserves a chance to feel successful, seen, and supported.

Meet Our Tutors

Hi! I'm Amanda Barkley, the founder of WIN Educational Services. With over 15 years of teaching experience, I started WIN because I saw how many students needed personalized, heart-centered academic support. My goal is to create a space where kids feel comfortable, capable, and ready to grow.

I am a passionate educator that believes in giving each student exactly what they need to be successful. I believe that learning can be fun and engaging. I approach all of my sessions with activities that include a multisensory approach.

I am a certified K-6 teacher with a Master of Education Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I have experience working with all elementary grades and subjects but specialize in literacy and phonics instruction. I have experience working with varying levels of learners including students with learning disabilities and different learning styles. I believe strongly that all students can learn, sometimes it has to be at their pace and in their own way. Along my educational journey, I picked up a lot of knowledge about IEPs, MTSS, and 504s. If you need a helping hand advocating for your child, please don't hesitate to reach out.

It can be overwhelming to navigate; you are not alone! It takes a village to raise a child. Let me help you understand the different processes and possibilities in education.

When I am not busy working, I enjoy reading, vacationing near the mountains with my family (mom of two), and playing with my furry pups (a fluffy Goldendoodle and huge Great Dane). I love crafting and creating things with my Cricut, such as earrings, layered paper art, and cool things to use in my teaching lessons.

I am incredibly grateful for the support and guidance that Mrs. Amanda has provided to my children. From the very first session, She took the time to understand their individual learning style and special needs. She was patient, creative and always prepared with engaging activities. I have seen noticeable improvements in both my children and highly recommend Mrs. Amanda to any parent looking for a dedicated and skilled special needs tutor. -Suyin

What’s made the biggest difference is having someone sit with him and explain things patiently until he understands. That one-on-one support has helped learning finally click for him. We’ve seen a big change in his confidence and happiness. He’s more comfortable asking questions and genuinely excited about learning. He actually loves going to school now… WIN has been a positive and encouraging experience for AJ, and we’re thankful for the care and support that has helped him grow both academically and emotionally.

When I first pulled my son out of public school, I didn’t know what to do or how to start homeschooling him. I was referred to WIN Educational Services, and Amanda gave me orientation and suggested a curriculum I could try. She told me about the services they offer, and I never felt any pressure to join. Amanda was always kind, helpful, and truly seemed to care about our needs. I will be using the services at WIN for end-of-year homeschool evaluation, tutoring, and any other service my son may need. I highly recommend WIN — they can help with your homeschool needs. -Annie
